Sylvia Plath: Biography, 1962 – 1963

For the rest of her time living, Plath had a burst of creativity, writing many of the poems that would later appear in her next installment of poetry, Ariel. Plath was writing one to two poems a day.

She also was able to get a British publisher for The Bell Jar, which was published in January of 1963 under the pen name “Victoria Lucas.”
